Your chocolates are shipped via FedEx. Orders received prior to 2pm PT ship the same business day, after 2pm PT they ship the next available ship day. Orders received after 2pm PT Friday, and anytime Saturday and Sunday, will ship on Monday or the next available ship day. Please see our shipping and delivery schedule (below) to determine the arrival date of your order.

We offer a local delivery option in addition to our standard 2 Day and Overnight shipping options for deliveries to Washington, Oregon, Northern California, and parts of Idaho and Nevada. Please note that from May to September local delivery is only available to Washington, and parts of Oregon and Idaho due to increased temperatures.

When shipping to warm destinations we use ice packs and mylar for insulation to ensure your chocolate arrives in excellent condition. To limit time in transit and prevent your chocolates from melting, orders only ship over the weekend when temperatures are below 75° F. If temperatures exceed 75° F, orders received Thursday and Friday will be held over the weekend and ship on Monday or the next available shipping day. Please make an effort to notify the recipient that a sweet gift is on its way so the package is not left in warm weather for too long.

Shipping and handling charges for 2 Day Air and Standard Overnight are calculated based on how much you spend per delivery address.

We welcome advance orders. To request a future delivery date, please specify the date you would like your order to arrive in the "special instructions" box during the check out process.

Currently we only ship within the United States (including AK and HI), and welcome international customers who wish to ship within the United States. We can ship to Canada, however shipping charges vary from the above listed rates. Please call us at (206) 322-0233 x24 for a shipping quote and to place your order to Canada.

If you need your order to arrive by 10:30am the next day or on a Saturday you may request Priority Overnight or Saturday delivery for an additional fee. These services are only available to select locations. Please call us at (206) 322-0233 x24 to make special arrangements.

To receive your FedEx tracking number, we encourage you to enter an email address when ordering. The email will contain shipping information and a tracking number for your order.

FedEx has permission to leave a package at the delivery address if no one is available to sign for it. Fran's Chocolates is not responsible for missing, stolen, or damaged packages after they are delivered to the address specified by the customer.
