Nothing is more important to us than your complete satisfaction. That is why we take great care creating our chocolates and hand packing your order. We guarantee that your order will arrive at the peak of freshness and in the best possible condition.
Shipping and Delivery:
Your chocolates are shipped via FedEx. All orders received prior to 12:00 noon PST ship on the same business day. Orders received after 12:00 noon PST will ship the next available ship day. Please see our shipping and delivery schedule (below) for your order's arrival day.
Shipping Orders in Warm Weather:
To limit time in transit and prevent the chocolates from melting, we ship via FedEx Overnight Monday thru Thursday only. Orders placed after 12 noon PST Thursday, and anytime Friday, Saturday and Sunday will ship on Monday. When shipping to destinations above 75° F, we use ice packs and mylar for insulation to ensure your chocolate arrives in excellent condition. Please make an effort to notify the recipient that a sweet gift is on its way so the package is not left out in warm weather for too long.

Shipping and handling charges are calculated based on how much you spend per delivery address.
Summer Shipping Rates for Local Deliveries:
We offer 2-Day shipping rates during the summer for deliveries within Washington and Oregon. Please contact us at (206) 322-0233 ext. 24 Monday thru Friday from 8AM to 4:30 PM PST and we can assist you.
To request a future date for delivery:
We welcome advance orders. To request a future delivery date, please specify the date you would like your order to arrive in the "special instructions" box during the check out process.
Ordering from abroad & international shipping:
Currently we only ship within the United States (including AK and HI), and welcome international customers who wish to ship within the United States. We can ship to Canada, however shipping charges vary from the above listed rates. Please call us at (206) 322-0233 x24 for a shipping quote and to place your order to Canada.
Priority Overnight and Saturday Delivery Options:
If you need your order to arrive by 10:30AM the next day or on a Saturday you may request Priority Overnight or Saturday delivery for an additional fee. These services are only available in select locations. Please call us at (206) 322-0233 x24 to make special arrangements.
Order Tracking:
We encourage you to enter an email address when ordering to receive your FedEx tracking number. The email will contain shipping information and a tracking number for your order.
Signature Release Statement:
FedEx has permission to leave packages at the delivery address if no one is available to sign for them. Fran’s Chocolates is not responsible for missing, stolen, or damaged packages after they are delivered to the address specified by the customer. Please double check the shipping address(es) before submitting your order or contact us at (206) 322-0233 x24 to make any changes. Fran’s Chocolates is not responsible for orders delayed or returned due to incorrect or undeliverable addresses.
